The 2009 Peace Dollar consists of 1 troy-ounce .999 fine silver, and bears a $20 face-value. The Peace Dollar celebrates our 11th year of non-violent attempts to spark a monetary revolution which will assist in eliminating dependence upon the fiat, debt-money which is responsible for our current, global economic crises, while at the same time providing individuals with tangible assets which can be privately bartered on a daily basis for goods and services. The first issue of Peace Dollars was siezed by the FBI on November 14th, 2007, along with Ron Paul Silver Libertys and yet, no charges were filed against any individuals. The Peace Dollar is REAL money, which exceeds the monetary standards delineated in the Rule of Law (Coinage Act of 1792). Due to its finite, tangible nature, the Peace Dollar is not suitable for financing violent, empirical wars, and instead promotes peaceful exchange and trade between private individuals. Peace in 2009!
